Instructions
First, preheat your air fryer. If your air fryer has a preheating option you can preheat your air fryer. If you don’t have that option, you can run the machine at 400 degrees F for 2-5 minutes. Leave the machine running for about 3 minutes for smaller air fryers. Leave the machine running for about 5 minutes for larger air fryers. Now, cut the acorn squash. Slice the squash in half. Next, scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Lastly, lay the squash cut side down and cut into ½ inch half circles. Place the cut squash into a bowl. Add the oil, thyme, parmesan, garlic powder, salt and ground black pepper. Combine until the squash is coated. Add the seasoned squash into your air fryer. Air fry the squash at 400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through. I suggest making this recipe in two batches for even cooking. Serve with a sprinkle of thyme and parmesan cheese!View original recipe
